ABOUT PINO RIO

The Pino Rio project was born to give back to the indigenous people of Guatemala. Pino Rio commissions wooden crates and boxes from local artisans for sale in the international market to help stimulate economic growth in their local communities. All products are handmade from 100% solid pine and recycled wooden pallets for agricultural use.

Pino Rio will donate proceeds to the Aantik Foundation to oversee and fund the building of schools to bring the human right of education to children in impoverished communities and give them a chance for a better future.  The Aantik Foundation works with local groups to locate communities in need and to build and fund the construction of schools, day cares and preschools along with the supplies, staff and food necessary to run the schools.
